got in almost to the second csm logged off (sorry i missed ya bro!), first thing i heard was csm disconnected from channel.
flew a couple air missions. First took up a stuka, while in flight the wetteren fb fell and PL decided to take it back, I circled onsight incase ET's spawned to defend the fb. When we destroyed it (no defenders if i recall), zott. attack was already stalling. the P1 moved to Caudry I believe so I took my stuka and dropped eggs on the WAB in zott and RTB'd. Took out 3 bofors guns. There was a red square over caudry so I picked up a 109-e4 (don't like the f-1) and did some CAP at around 4k. Bersi dogfighted and flamed a spit at about 6k before I could climb to alt... so i turned and started to look for targets lower down. saw some tracers and a greentag was getting chased by spits. flamed one of the pursuers but I dived with such speed I blacked out as I pulled up... I'm thinking i hit the ground cause it all flashed red and then my pilot was dead... and in the despawn camera.... yeah.... sorry csm, didn't gget around to recruiting the greentag in the dogfight .Logged off for the night, but had alot of fun.

When: Squad Night, 2030 EST, 12 May 2010
Where: Bouchain Who: Csm308/Dragon69, Ironlehr, Executor, Sonya0988, Blakeh, Broder, Gaspipe/Gaspipe9 What a great Squad Night! We didn't have the numbers we've normally had but Lehr really made a difference tonight! As we began, an AO wen't hot on the town of Bouchain. An examination of the town showed only one CP on the west side of the river dividing the town, the Orchies CP. We had the Valenciennes-Orchies FB, so we spawned 88s/Pak 40's/Bofors/HT and a 251/Pak 38 at that FB to set up an MS and defensive zone near the Orchies CP in order to capture and hold it. I asked the OKW Map OIC to place AO's on the two bridges in Bouchain to further isolate the Orchies CP and prevent its recapture. The whole point being to contest Bouchain and provide a near un-recapturable CP to keep it contested so the AB bunker radios would go hot and stay hot. Initially all went well. I found that I had misplaced the objective of the mission to the main town instead of the Orchies CP so I had to bring the MS in closer than I had anticipated in order to MS. That worked out since the MS was only 800m from the Orchies CP. I did manage to flip my Pak 38 being the Klutz that I am. Once the MS was up, the first wave of friendly infantry spawned in and it was off to the races! The Orchies CP was safely captured, Bouchain contested, and defenses put up around the bridge to keep the enemy from crossing over. The west side also had some enemy ATG's and a Panhard which were quickly eliminated as well. Meanwhile AO's had been placed on the Bouchain and Bouchain RR bridges. A call went out on 10, 20, and Side to please take down the bridges. While we were waiting for the bridges to be blown enemy infantry and a Sherman attempted to cross. Defending infantry took care of the EI, while poor Executor with his Pak 40 took out the Sherman but was killed in return. Enemy air took out our Bofors and 88s, but Ironlehr survived throughout the battle with his Pak 40. A second Sherman came up and parked himself on the bridge, sweeping the west side with cannon and MG fire. More enemy infantry attempted to cross but were killed. Usaf77 bombed the bridge, sending the Sherman into the river. A combination of others eventually took out the RR bridge. While all this was taking place, the battle on the east side of the river was waging. At one point most of the CPs were taken, but the Allies fought back and eventually libbed the east side of town. The battle began to ebb on the east side of the river. At that point a combined Blitz Kader/DDZ FJ drop, led by Dukk and Fsjr02 occurred. The FJs landed, stormed the AB bunker, and Alakazaam the AB was taken and the Allied units thrown out of Bouchain! A desperate battle to get more MS's up on the east side in order to get more friendly infantry there ensued. The Allies desperately clung to their CPs and the rest of the town didn't fall for another 45 minutes. It was so intense that the last CP to fall was the City CP. From initial spawn to final CP falling, the battle lasted just under two hours. It was a great Squad Night and a truly combined arms, joint squad operation. It was a proud night to be Lehr and Axis! See you on the battlefield. VR

12May
Logged in earlier to fight at lille with Hyper05, Job and Jobjr, drac was on, McGib was also there. We had the AF/AFAB/ all the northern depots and the south RR station. A pitched infantry battle ensued for the seclin and orchies depot, with hyper and myself dying repeatedly in an attempt to take it. Eventually the attack faltered and the allies liberated the town. P1 was then Caudry and lehr spawned in the spawnable to help cap the town. My contribution to the cap was the successfull defense of the flag building. Killed 3 cappers in one mission and 2 in another two missions. After the bunker was secure, I moved to the barracks and helped interdict EI as they moved to the bunker. We capped the AB and there was much rejoicing, vangard was killed seconds later. Then spawned into the eastern spawnable and moved on the last CP. We capped it and there was much rejoicing, the town was ours... vangard was killed seconds later. Had to log off as an AO was placed on Cambrai. Had alot of fun! Echo out

early morning sunday may16.
Logged in around 1am EST to find lehr at La Fere. McGib, mrs. executor, and ergster were on the ground. Exec and myself were in the air, and later joined by rabidx also in the air. Spawned a stuka and unsuccessfully bombed the AB (difficult to aim with only one wing). relaunched in a 190 with one kill. La Fere attack faltered, and we redeployed as a squad to the Dunkerque area. An attack on the coastal town south was underway. Executor spawned a 109 and flew bravely, courageously into a red square. McGib, Rabid and myself set up a flak trap at the FB. Between us we dealt some serious damage to allied air. I shot down two spits, two hurries, with damages on more planes. Logged off with attack in progress around 3-3:30am EST. Good teamwork by all - we stuck together as a squad and performed very well. Specail thanks to executor for dragging targets over the fb .

When: Squad Night, 2030 EST, 19 May 2010
Where: St.Pol, St.Omer Who: Csm308, Dragon69, Job201kw, Jobjr, Ironlehr, Executor, Sonya0988, Blakeh, Broder, Gaspipe, Gaspipe9, McGib, Mordor, Racecar, Ergster1, Fignut, Ebilman Pretty successful Squad Night for a weekday. We had 17 squaddies show up at some point throughout the night. While waiting for squaddies to show up, we busted the FBs to St.Pol. It was a good ol' fashioned hot drop and accomplished quickly. Only one casualty; poor Fignut blew himself up with a satchel at the first FB. We held a quick service on the spot, then picked him up in town for the next FB hot drop. After that, it was on to St.Omer. The battle had been raging all day and the town was contested. Both sides had been brigade swapping in and out in preparation for the next round of assaults. Lehr chose to come from the town of Watten, which although a longer drive, had no FB to St.Omer, thus we didn't need to worry about our MS's going down. We spawned a 251c for a well protected vehicle to MS, a 4D, an HT, Bofors, and ATG's and headed off to St.Omer. We followed waypoints on a round about way to finally approach St.Omer from the west. We got in close to the West AB and set up a zone of control with our MS well protected by panzers, Bofors and Paks. Follow-on squaddies brought in more panzers and 232s. The West AB, which was already under heavy attack, quickly fell. For the next two hours the battle was mainly over the Lumbres CP, to keep the Allies from bringing fresh brigades into the town. The Lumbres CP was traded back and forth several times, but was in Allied hands when I logged off at 2245 EST. Even though St.Omer didn't fall I felt the squad night was successful. We had great numbers and because of that, our MS and zone of control remained intact throughout the fight. This enabled us to keep taking the fight to the Allies in town. If we keep recruiting the way we have (new squaddies Racecar, Rabidx, Waradmiral, Admiral1, Noriette, Sonya0988) and if old time squaddies, such as Fignut and Executor this campaign and Ergster1 last campaign (Welcome back guys!), keep returning to the squad after long absences, Lehr will definitely become a force to be reckoned with in US Primetime. I know some of you can remember when we were only getting 5 or 6 squaddies to show up for squad nights. Well, we're already 200% better than that now! We're only a few recruits and old-timers away from being 20 squaddies in game at one time! Then it's on to 30! So you old time squaddies who are waiting on 1.31 before returning to the game, don't wait! We're already having a great time in game with 1.30! For you squaddies who are already active, always be on the lookout for that poor recruit wandering helplessly on the battlefield or that blue tag without a squad. They need a home! Pitch them about joining Panzer Lehr. You can just feel the momentum shift in the future of Panzer Lehr. Get your shades on because the future looks bright! See you on the battlefield! VR

This just warms my heart - Great news! I logged on early this morning - fought alongside mcGib, Rabid "AI xtermanee", exec, sonya and iron. We caused some trouble in some town (I was trapped in the enemy armybase with my sniper, surrounded by ETs - got 5 kills) before moving to Amiens. There we capped the WAB, and some other CPs... not before Rabid had a run in with a MG nest (which he never heard the end of). McGib of course was bent on killing executor and I (I can't imagine why ) - but all in all it was a fantastically fun night!Echo out
